The Zkteco zk F18 is an Innovative Reader used for both access control and time attendance applications. The device has three levels of security i.e Fingerprint Reader, RFID Reader and PIN access. Zkteco F18 can be installed as a standalone device or with third party controller using Wiegand protocol.

When used a standalone access control device, Zkteco F18 is normally used together with other accessories Like Magnetic Locks (Maglock), Door Closer, PSU, Battery, keyswitch, exit switch, alarm cable and Breakglass. To access via computer you require a software from zkteco which can either be zkteco timer 3.0, 5.0, 8.0, 0r 7.0.
The F18 Can also be used as both access control and time attendance by adding a slave like zkteco FR1200 on the access control package instead of using an Exit switch on the inside.
