Grandstream GXW400x series FXS Gateway

The GXW400x series FXS Gateway enables small and medium businesses to create an integrated IP and PSTN telephony systems to create one easy-to-manage communications solution. The GXW400x series is intuitive and easy to deploy with its 4 or 8 FXS ports for analog telephones, and two 10/100 ports.

The GXW series offers the small enterprise, SOHO, remote offices and multi-location enterprises a cost-effective, easy to deploy VoIP FXS analog gateway.

Designed and tested for full interoperability with leading IP-PBXs, Softswitches and most SIP-based environments, the GXW technology ensures manageability, a simple configuration, superb voice and video quality and feature rich functionality. The GXW series also offers a video surveillance port and is the only small business gateway in the industry that provides a video surveillance option. GXW Series IP Gateway is based on open industry standards.

GXW-400x can be configured to work with any leading SIP server, for a pure media gateway to access PSTN networks. In such applications, the user only needs to configure GXW-400x gateway Stage Dialing field and Sip Server field.

For a simple set-up, users only need to configure a SIP server field for default SIP Profile 1. This field should be configured to point to the SIP server to be used with the GXW-400x.

For advanced applications, the user is required to choose at least one SIP server field from the SIP profiles and one stage dialing under system Channel configuration table. On SIP server sides, the SIP server must be configured to forward user PSTN calls to the GXW-400x.
